A Father-Son Project
This project started my love for design. In that garage I found what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
This is my life’s greatest achievement, and my most cherished possession.
Enjoy.
I can vividly remember the moment that I chose to do this.
In my mind, I was either going to dream about doing this, or I would live the rest of my life wishing that I did.
I was either going to wake up in 20 years with the car of my dreams, or without it. Plain and simple.
From that day forward I worked and worked and I worked some more. What started as a father son restoration turned into building and designing something extremely special.
All in all I have probably spent 10,000+ hours on this car. My dad probably has another 4,000 in it. Combined we have at least $100,000 in it.
I have spent more time working on this car, than anything else I have ever done. I am glad that I pushed myself to do this and that I challenged myself.
Thank you to my father, Don Johnston. This would not ever have been built without his knowledge, expertise, and love. Thank you Dad.
